12.4 AT work today

Still figuring out how to best plan and messed up at the start so went from Damascus to Tenn then back to Damascus and on to my ending for the day.

Boozie did some nice work on a beautiful day in warm but not oppressive heat. It was especially impressive since he was paired with an inexperienced handler who left him in a kennel for the prior 10 days (as I was out of the country).

Dogtorate earned at U Maryland College Park

Study began with him walking around with a speaker attached to his collar. He was trying to locate the source but this didn't stop him from pointing a dove. We returned to the laboratory and they evaluated his recognition of certain sounds. Before leaving Boozie played therapy dog and snuggled with a student preparing to take an examination.

100 degrees in DC, enjoying low 60s in Wisconsin

Learned alot for NAVDHA invitational prep, got some dog training in, and missed the DC heat wave.

Boozie had an excellent double water mark and, off of a steadiness drill - a quad mark and he remembered where the three chukar and one pigeon was.

Fun RH training day in Wisconsin

Had a warm welcome at Fox Valley Police and Schutzhund club. Started the morning with a home walk off blind trail with a kenneled dog, chickens, a bunny distractions. Later in the day had a great opportunity for Boozie to find and be rewarded by a neurodivergent young person.

Three for three all legs in the ribbons. The fourth day at the Nationals took a toll on our polished work but 185 1/2 is still respectable.
