I kept all our summer hikes fairly short due to the heat but it was nice weather for our nearly 16 miler. My heel and overall endurance were not up for it. The leaves were turning and there were some pretty overlooks.

Fosters to Bentonville Boat Ramp 17 miles
Bald eagles, many great blue herons, redheads, black ducks, mallards, Canada's, northern yellow warbler, and double crested cormerants.
